Healing Love Outreach Ministries Communtiy Guidelines

We at Healing Love Outreach Ministries would like to welcome you to our little community.  Our desire is that you will find this to be a safe, enjoyable and comfortable place.  To ensure a pleasant atmosphere, all community members are required to abide by the following guidelines.  We at Healing Love Outreach Ministries reserve the right to remove any post we deem inappropriate or does not relate to the topic being discussed on the board.  We also reserve the right to terminate your account, deny you access to the community and/ or personal mailbox feature if these guidelines are violated.

1. To participate in the Message Boards, including the personal mailbox feature you must register to become a member of the Healing Love Outreach Ministries Community.  By registering you agree to choose an appropriate user name (no obscene words or phrases), provide accurate information (i.e., full true name and current, valid email address), and promptly update this information if it should change.  You acknowledge that you will not impersonate any other community member, moderator or Healing Love Outreach Ministry staff.

2. Please do not register more than once.  This can cause confusion and disruption in the community.  Anyone registering with more than one user name will be notified to choose only one.  Duplicate accounts will be deleted.

3. Your words are your own be wise and choose them carefully. Words can sometimes be misinterpreted.  Differing opinions and view points are normal and foster lively debate, but please keep your comments relevant to the subject being discussed and not about the person who offers a differing opinion than your own. Agree to disagree respectfully, personal attacks; demeaning and abusive language will not be tolerated.

4.  Your safety and privacy are important to Healing Love Outreach Ministries.  Posting personal information or including it in a personal note may seem like a friendly gesture, but do you really want to post your phone number on a public message board or make it available to a stranger?  Please keep your own or any one else’s personal information private.  This includes street address, passwords, Social Security numbers, the name of your children school ect.  Due to the nature of these forums we highly encourage the use of an appropriate user name instead of your real name for your protection.

5.  Do not post or incorporate in a personal note any copyrighted or trademarked material unless you have the express written consent of the owner to do so.  This includes text, graphics, graphic files, pictures and other advertisements from other websites. ect.

6.  No advertising, promoting or solicitations of any kind.  Post containing url’s or links to other businesses or commercial sites will be removed.

7.  Please be respectful of other community members.  Posting the same note in more than one topic or sending the same personal note to many community members through the personal mailbox feature is considered spamming.  Duplicate notes will be deleted.

8.  The personal mailbox feature is provided as a service for Healing Love Outreach Ministries community members to communicate with one another directly concerning topics on the message board.  You cannot use this feature for any purpose that fails to comply with or is inconsistent with these guidelines.

9.  Healing Love Outreach Ministries will do its best to monitor these forums, but please remember we cannot monitor 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.  If you find an objectionable post, it is best to not comment about it within the discussion.  Send a message to Hlom@hlom.org stating the Forum, discussion and your concerns.  We do not monitor personal notes, but you have the ability to block users from sending you personal notes.  Please report any misuse or misconduct to HLOM.  We will review the situation as soon as possible and take the appropriate action.

10. Any opinions or recommendations expressed in the community are those of the person expressing such views and not those of Healing Love Outreach Ministries.  Healing Love Outreach Ministries is not responsible for and does not assume any liability for the opinions or comments expressed by community members.  You agree to hold Healing Love Outreach Ministries, moderators and staff free of responsibility for any damaging content posted by you or other community members or sent through the personal mailbox feature.  You acknowledge that Healing Love Outreach Ministries does not control or does not edit specific content of your messages and personal notes by other community members.
